Owners Anya and Matt Schodorf have been staples in the rapidly changing Highland Park restaurant scene since 2008, when they first opened Cafe de Leche on York Boulevard, bringing specialty Stumptown coffee to the market and immediately becoming one of the city's best places for a cup. They went on to open Schodorf’s Luncheonette not far away, though that casual daytime space fell away last year in favor of a new ramen concept from the Silver Lake Ramen people.
