Brothers Alex and Alan Morales spent time at Handsome Coffee Roasters and Tiago Coffee Bar + Kitchen before they opened their own coffee shop in Highland Park. The result is Civil Coffee a pretty beautiful coffee bar that embodies European charm with high ceilings, tiled floors, and blue wainscot walls. The baristas brew Coava and Heart coffee, and there's a full menu of cafe food (brie quiche, cured and smoked salmon toast, muesli parfait) from pop-up caterers Roomforty.
