Taking the Reins is an amazing and little-known non-profit in the Atwater village area that does tremendous good. The program helping under-served girls in the Los Angeles area develops confidence and leadership skills. The riding program is amazing and the results are visible through the smiles and skills developed by the girls. They also have an organic farm, a writing program, and a photography program.
